At the Heart of Something Special is especially for parents and teachers of special needs children. It is a place where you are not alone in your struggles and triumphs. We hope to be a community of people that can support each other in this journey.
While this doesn’t replace any specialists, you may see along your special needs journey, this will be the place for all the tricks and tips I have learned and continue to learn each day.
And at the heart of our special needs children are those special people in their lives. This is you! Each day you work to make their days better and brighter so they can live joyful and fulfilling lives, and here, we hope to help you do the same.
